About The Flying Cowgirl
There are a few things you should know about me:
1.) I live in Ojai, California
2.) I handcraft wallets, purses, pouches, and other accessories
3.) They call me… the Flying Cowgirl!
I’m also a licensed pilot with instrument, commercial, and flight instructor ratings, but these days when I’m not in front of my sewing machine I’m out prepping my horse for competition at American Quarter Horse Association Horse Shows.
Handbags Speak Louder Than Words
I’ve been sewing since I was in grade school, though my handbag obsession is a little more recent.
You’ll notice that I pull inspiration from many different styles, with a particular fondness for vintage western fabric and almost anything with horses. Although I do repeat patterns, most of my finished pieces are one-of-a-kind.
